Saludos Hispania,

Según me informa Aytha, parece ser que se confirma la implementación del Book 8 mañana Jueves (25/06/09) en los servidores Europeos, pero que este tendrá una modificación en el tema de las nuevas instancias, algunas permanecerán cerradas hasta que se solucionen ciertos problemas con ellas encontrados en la versión US de este Book.

There are known issues with some of the new instances in Book 8, however, as we are keen to get you the rest of the new Book 8 content update as soon as possible we will be going live with the affected instances closed.

The following Book 8 instances will be closed until further notice:

Hall of Mirrors

Maintenance today, servers are currently offline. 25-Jun-2009

Don't forget that today is maintenance day. The servers are currently offline whilst our engineers tune them up and update them with Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dûm. They'll be back online at approximately 3pm, UK time (GMT+1).

Última noticia, se retrasa la salida del Book 8 en Europa....

Important Notice – Book 8 Release Postponed 25-Jun-2009

Following developments overnight on the live US service, Codemasters Online has decided to withhold the release of Book 8 until the patches/hotfixes can be applied.

In addition to the instances that needed to be closed, it transpired that a serious issue with stuck characters has manifested rendering many players unable to move or to log in.

In order to avoid these problems, we have decided to postpone the Book 8 release until we can go live with the fixes to these issues. The hotfixes for the instance bugs and the stuck characters issue are currently in test with our QA department. Working around the clock we will attempt to update to Book 8 tomorrow, (subject to approval). Please note that further issues discovered on the US service may preclude us from releasing Book 8 until further hotfixes are received.

Today's scheduled maintenance will be finishing earlier than advertised.

Please watch the forums, website and launcher for further updates as they become available

UPDATED 15.01 - Important Notice – Book 8 Release Postponed 25-Jun-2009

Update: We are now tracking early next week for Book 8's release, (Monday or Tuesday, subject to approvals). Due to the size of the update and the severity of the issues, our QA team will take the next few days to test the hotfixes. This time will also enable us to monitor the US service and follow developments over the weekend.

The next news update will be on Sunday evening.

Ya tenemos fecha confirmada para la implementación del Book 8 con los Bug solucionados.

Barring any further unforeseen issues to prevent it, please note that this week's maintenance will take place on Tuesday, 30th June, starting 7.00 - 15.00 hours (GMT+1) [08:00 a 16:00 Aproximádamente hora Española GMT+2 DST].

This is to update to Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dûm along with the hotfixes to resolve issues with instances reported earlier in the week and stuck characters/connection issues reported on the US service.
